Your current choice
You can review or change your cookie preferences whenever you like — no cookies beyond the strictly necessary ones are set until you opt in.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used, or measure advertising. We group them into the four categories below.
Cookies we use
| Category | Consent | Cookies | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Not required | exs_consent, exs_anon | Remembers your cookie choice and secures form submissions. The site cannot function without these. | 12 months |
| Analytics | Opt-in | _ga, _ga_*, _hj* | Tells us which pages and roles people actually read so we can improve them. Reported in aggregate. | Up to 14 months |
| Marketing | Opt-in | _fbp, _fbc, li_sugr, bcookie | Measures which campaigns bring candidates and clients to the site, and supports advertising on LinkedIn and Meta. | Up to 13 months |
| Preferences | Opt-in | exs_prefs | Remembers choices such as saved job filters. | 6 months |
How we handle candidate data
If you send us a CV, we store it in encrypted, access-controlled storage. Only our consultants can open it. We never forward your profile to a client without speaking to you first, and we keep your details for 24 months from your last contact with us unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
When a consultant shares a shortlist with a client, the link expires automatically and your contact details are withheld by default.
Your rights
Under the UK/EU GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it, or request it in a portable format. Use the form below, or email privacy@exsearch.in.
The data controller is Executive Search. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
